  We were brand new to Alabama and after seeing Matt Curtis Real Estate billboards all over, we checked out the reviews and chose them as our real estate agent. Can’t go wrong with 5 stars, right? It was a great choice because our agent, Amanda Dixon, was wonderful. She was extremely welcoming, accommodating, and knowledgeable and made the home buying process a lot easier to handle. We felt more like we were dealing with a friend than a stranger, which is exactly what we needed in this unfamiliar location. The rest of the staff at Matt Curtis Real Estate were polite, helpful, and quickly available to answer questions. If we need to buy a home again, or sell, we would love to work with this team and would recommend them to anyone else!

  We worked with Jeff York and the Matt Curtis Real Estate team to sell our home and build a new home. Jeff was very knowledgeable about our area and gave us great advice to get the house ready to sell. We sold it in 9 days! Unfortunately, that buyer got cold feet and they walked away. Jeff didn't let that get him down. We put the house back on the market and sold it again in 2 weeks. This time the buyer stayed! We had a completely open line of communication with Jeff the entire time. The closing team was amazing! Denise walked us through the entire closing process in a way that made it impossible to worry about anything. She helped us find contractors to do the necessary repairs and gave us great advice to make sure that everything went smoothly during what could have been a very stressful process. The home that we built was unfortunately not as smooth. But that was because the builder didn't have the processes and the team that the Matt Curtis Team has in place. We had some pretty big issues along the way, but Jeff and Denise were there for us and made sure that we were taken care of the entire time. Jeff told us that he worked with the best admin and closing team in the business and we see now that he was not exaggerating at all! In the end, we have a beautiful home that we love. But, if we had left it up to the builder and their agents, there's no telling where we would be right now.
